The main listings page at /listings shows all active rental listings in Montreal.

Listing Cards

Each listing card shows:

• Property photo (primary image)
• Price per month
• Property type badge
• Price rating badge (Great Deal, Good Price, Above Average, High Price) — color-coded
• Price drop badge with amount (when a price decrease was detected)
• Title and neighborhood
• Bedrooms, bathrooms, and square footage
• Feature badges (pet friendly, parking, laundry)

Listing Detail

Click any card to view the full listing at /listings/:id. The detail page shows:

• Image gallery
• Full description
• All amenities
• Contact information (email, phone)
• Location details with neighborhood and borough
• Availability date
• Property specifications (lease type, bedrooms, bathrooms, area)
• Similar listings — up to 6 related listings scored by bedroom match, price proximity, and geographic distance
• Nearby transit and schools — closest metro stations, bus routes, train stations, and schools with walking distances

Nearby Transit & Schools

Each listing detail page includes a "Nearby" section showing points of interest close to the property:

• Metro stations — nearest stations within 2km, including which line they are on (Green, Orange, Blue, Yellow)
• Bus routes — nearest 5 unique bus routes within 500m
• Train stations — nearest commuter train stations within 2km
• Schools — nearest 3 schools within 2km, including type (primary, secondary, CEGEP, university)

Distances are shown in meters when under 1km, and in kilometers with one decimal place for farther locations. This data is sourced from official open datasets (STM GTFS for transit, Quebec Ministry of Education for schools) and periodically re-synced.
